Terms of Service

Welcome to Listeners Connect ("Platform"). By using our mobile application, website, or services, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the Platform. Listeners Connect is operated from India and governed by Indian law.

Effective Date: 1 January 2026

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to register and use the Platform.
  • You must provide accurate and current information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • One person may maintain only one active account per role (User, Listener, Agency).

2. Nature of Services

  • Listeners Connect is a peer emotional support platform connecting users with trained listeners and wellness consultants via chat, audio, and video sessions.
  • Our services are NOT a substitute for professional therapy, psychiatric treatment, medical advice, or crisis intervention.
  • In a medical or mental health emergency, contact 112 (India Emergency Services) or Vandrevala Foundation Helpline 1860-2662-345 immediately.
  • We do not guarantee specific outcomes or results from any session or interaction.

3. Payments & Wallet

  • All transactions are processed in Indian Rupees (₹) via Razorpay payment gateway.
  • Users must add funds to their in-app wallet before booking sessions. Session charges are deducted per-minute at the rate displayed before booking.
  • Recharge packs may include bonus credits which are non-withdrawable and used before main balance.
  • Virtual gifts, once sent to a listener during a session or live stream, are non-refundable.
  • Refund requests for wallet recharges must be raised within 7 days of the transaction by contacting support@listenersconnect.com.

4. Listener/Consultant Payouts

  • Listeners earn per-minute income from sessions minus the platform commission percentage.
  • Payout frequency and minimum withdrawal amounts are set by the Platform and visible in your dashboard.
  • Payouts are processed to your registered bank account (NEFT) or UPI ID after identity verification (Aadhaar/PAN KYC).
  • The Platform deducts applicable TDS as per Income Tax Act, 1961 on all payouts.

5. Prohibited Conduct

  • Harassment, abuse, threats, hate speech, casteism, sexism, or discrimination of any kind.
  • Sharing sexually explicit, violent, or illegal content.
  • Soliciting personal contact information (phone, WhatsApp, social media) from users or listeners.
  • Impersonation, fraud, or misrepresentation of identity or qualifications.
  • Attempting to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt Platform infrastructure.
  • Using the Platform for multi-level marketing, advertising, or unauthorized commercial purposes.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All Platform content, branding, logos, and software are owned by Listeners Connect and protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and Trade Marks Act, 1999.
  • Users retain ownership of their content but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license for Platform operations.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Listeners Connect shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from Platform use, to the maximum extent permitted under Indian law.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 3 months.
  • We are not responsible for the conduct, advice, or actions of any listener, consultant, or user.

8. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts violating these Terms without prior notice.
  • You may delete your account at any time from app settings. Unused wallet balance (excluding bonus) may be refunded upon request.

9. Governing Law & Disputes

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • Disputes shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi, India.
