Community Standards

Listeners Connect is built on empathy, respect, and inclusivity. These standards apply to all users, listeners, consultants, and agencies. Violations result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal.

Respect & Empathy

  • Treat every person with dignity regardless of religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, disability, language, or region.
  • Practice active listening without judgment. Do not dismiss or minimize anyone's feelings.
  • India is diverse — be mindful of cultural, linguistic, and regional sensitivities.

Zero Tolerance

  • Hate speech, casteism, communalism, sexism, homophobia, or any discrimination — permanent ban.
  • Sexual harassment, grooming, unsolicited advances, sharing explicit content — permanent ban and reporting to authorities.
  • Threats, bullying, encouraging self-harm — permanent ban.
  • Fraud, scams, MLM solicitation, unauthorized promotions — permanent ban.

Content Standards

  • Profile photos must be appropriate. No nudity, violence, or political/religious propaganda.
  • Display names must be real or respectful pseudonyms. No impersonation.
  • Reviews must be honest. Fake reviews or rating manipulation is prohibited.

Listener Standards

  • Complete all training before accepting sessions.
  • Never provide medical diagnoses, prescribe medication, or offer licensed therapy (unless appropriately credentialed).
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all user sessions.
  • Immediately escalate any user expressing suicidal ideation to the Platform's crisis protocol.

Enforcement

  • Report violations via the in-app Report button.
  • Reports reviewed by Trust & Safety within 24 hours.
  • Actions: Warning → 7-day suspension → 30-day suspension → Permanent ban.
  • Appeals within 14 days via support@listenersconnect.com.
